RN CVICUThis position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiothoracic ICU. The unit consists of 20 beds dedicated to cardiothoracic surgical patients. Candidates must have experience managing cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. NIH Certification and CPI/MOAB High Risk training are also required. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills are essential for collaboration with the healthcare team. The position entails monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and supporting patient families. Participating in quality improvement initiatives is expected.
