TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Job Summary Travel MRI Technologist – 13 week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour rotating shifts. Immediate start in Kealakekua, HI. Responsibilities Operate MRI equipment and ensure image accuracy. Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests. Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance. Screen patients for MRI safety and interpret doctor instructions. Position patients using immobilisation and protective equipment. Assist radiologist during procedures. Initiate IVs, administer contrast media per protocol. Evaluate scan quality, collate and label images. Operate power injectors for contrast media. Follow safety procedures for radiation. Maintain accurate patient records. Use McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of professional experience as MRI Technologist. ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT national certification and BLS certification. Registration in magnetic resonance imaging and state‑specific licensing when required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
