Job Description
Perform all aspects of the material movement/handling process as it relates to JIT/KANBAN, or whatever stock replenishing system is in place, and as it pertains to the specific plant and area of assignment. Duties to include picking parts and raw stock, delivering parts, containers, fixturing, tooling, etc. to point of use, unloading and loading trucks, operating material handling equipment, recoding steel or other materials to conform to OTC standards, placing stock into assigned storage areas and recording location and quantity. May be required to work outside approximately 10% of the time. Is responsible for the accuracy of inventory counts.

Qualifications

Requires the use of simple arithmetic and some measuring instruments such as caliper, scale, etc. Equivalent to four years of high school. Requires the ability to work from detailed instructions and the making of minor decisions involving the use of some judgment

Basic Qualification

Current Oshkosh Defense Hourly Production employee or laid off Oshkosh Defense Hourly Production employee with recall rights.
