Details\n \n Outpatient clinic setting \n Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM \n Treats patients across orthopedic, neurologic, and post-op populations, including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op shoulder, spinal, hip, and knee surgeries \n Works with patients presenting cognitive disorders, MS, Parkinson's, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and TBI \n Supervises physical therapy assistants and PT technicians \n Performs work-related evaluations including WorkSTEPS, APET, Work Hardening, Functional Capacity, and ergonomic assessments \n Requirements\n \n AZ PT license required if applicable, must be obtained before start date and in good standing \n Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required \n BLS certification required \n Charting system experience required (any EMR) \n Skilled in home exercise program development and patient/family education \n Knowledge of billing codes for various payer types \n Additional Information\n \n Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients per physician referral or direct access \n Maintains communication with referring physicians through timely evaluation and progress notes \n Provides weekly updates to rehab nurses on patient progress \n May assist with scheduling, answering phones, and taking referrals as needed \n Participates in marketing and community outreach initiatives when patient load allows \n Open to first-time travelers \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-754127.
