Job Summary MaineGeneral Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. Job Description $10,000 sign‑on bonus potential for experienced Physical Therapists! Available to candidates with at least one year of experience. Must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week. Not available to current MaineGeneral employees or former employees separated for less than one year or an early acceptance incentive of $4,000 awaits qualified new graduate Physical Therapists. Candidates are encouraged to apply at least 6 weeks before their graduation date; however, some exceptions may be made based on program needs and timing. Offer letters should be signed within 1 week of receipt. The incentive is paid in full in your first paycheck as a Physical Therapist. What You’ll Do Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ physical therapy needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence‑based interventions. Document subjective, objective, and assessment findings and monitor progress toward goals. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and equipment. Collaborate on discharge planning and connect patients with ongoing supports and adaptive tools. Supervise and delegate care to Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with licensure standards. Work with a high degree of autonomy while being part of a supportive clinical team. What We’re Looking For Licensed (or eligible) Physical Therapist in the State of Maine.
