Senior Metrology Engineer

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina

Eurofins seeks a Senior Metrology Engineer to maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves instrument validation, technical oversight, and process improvement in a Lancaster-based facility.

Responsibilities

Maintain, calibrate, and qualify laboratory instrumentation per established procedures and regulatory requirements
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of laboratory instruments
Oversee preventative maintenance, routine testing, and validation activities
Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to laboratory personnel
Support process improvement initiatives and maintain quality system compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in physical science, engineering, or information technology
8+ years of GxP laboratory and instrument maintenance/repair experience
Experience troubleshooting, documenting instrument issues, and performing validations
Proficiency writing technical documents and validation deliverables in GxP environments
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
