RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM). On-call required: Yes (Monday-Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following day and weekends from Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM).

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing critical care and support to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The nurse will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with invasive cardiac procedures, including diagnostic cardiac catheterization and stent placement.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage post-procedure care.
• Administer sedation and ensure patient safety throughout the procedures.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a cardiac cath lab setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• CA RN license must be in hand.
• Experience in diagnosing cardiac conditions and performing right and left heart catheterizations required.
