Accountant I

Temporary/Contract Position ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Accounting reconciliations, process and post assigned daily transaction activity as needed and assigned.
- Scanning reconciliations and work papers as needed.
- Responsible for prompt and timely payment of vendors in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Responsible for assigned monthly duties associated with accounts payable including but not limited setting up new vendors, Sales Tax, Fixed Assets, etc.
- Other monthly or weekly duties as assigned including projects.
- Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions.
- Minimum of 4 years prior experience with large business accounting systems.
- Education may substitute for experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, analyzing and interpreting data.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to deal with time constraints and strong attention to detail.
- Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required.
- Employees confirm they are able to perform the essential functions of this position to continue employment with First Federal Bank.
