Emergency Room Nurse in Manhattan, Kansas. This role involves providing direct nursing care within a busy emergency department. The nurse will coordinate patient care, implement treatment plans, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, degree in nursing or equivalent, CPR certification, Kansas state licensure, and 1 year of relevant emergency room experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a rural or mixed population environment, familiarity with Meditech charting system.
• Additional Information: The emergency department has 18 rooms, a staff ratio of 1:4, and coverage from physicians 24/7 with mid-level providers during peak hours. The unit serves a diverse population including pediatric, geriatric, college students, military personnel, and individuals with mental health needs. It is located near a university and military base.
