Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER) Tallahassee, Florida
An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER) is needed for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include managing high-throughput patient care, supporting emergency lifesaving procedures (including assistance with intubation), and maintaining effective bedside communication. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights (7:00PM7:00AM), 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week

  • Patient care expectations include 3060 minute patient rounding and bedside shift report
  • Care may include assisting with intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures
  • Procedures performed on the unit may include chest tubes, moderate sedation, lumbar puncture, laceration repair, and blood products
  • Scheduling posts are provided 2 weeks prior to the start date (preferred: three 12-hour shifts per week)
  • Floating policy: Emergency Room hold may be required while at capacity (rare during summer months)
