Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified General Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures within a teaching hospital setting. The role involves working a 3×12-hour night shift Friday through Sunday, with floating duties between departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform proficient abdominal Doppler imaging and transplant ultrasounds.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce optimal diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in Epic charting system.
- Float between departments, adapting to different clinical needs within scope.
- Adhere to all credentialing, licensure, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Must hold ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification and BLS certification.
- Proficient in abdominal Doppler imaging and transplants.
- Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred; first-timers accepted.
- South Carolina ultrasound licensure not required but preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and comply with facility policies.
