Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $1,585 a week in all, a taxable rate of $20 an hour plus $864.97 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit — This position provides care for adult and geriatric patients in a Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Care setting. The role supports complex critical-care needs, including respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, septic shock, acute kidney injury, and other high-acuity conditions.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; experience caring for patients at a 1:2 ratio; required experience with Epic charting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience; previous charge experience; community hospital experience; Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience; Trauma Level I or Trauma Level II experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and a 36- or 48-hour weekly option.
• Additional Information: The position supports a Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Care environment with interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Clinical responsibilities include ventilator management, central and arterial line care, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), intra-aortic balloon pump management, Impella support, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, blood product administration, chest tube management, neurological monitoring, emergency medication administration, and care of patients requiring complex postoperative and multisystem support.
