SLB is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Coraopolis, PA , to support purchasing operations and ensure the timely procurement of materials and services from approved suppliers. This role is responsible for executing purchasing transactions, coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with established procurement processes and policies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to operational efficiency, support continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in maintaining reliable supply chain operations. Roles and Responsibilities Process purchase requests and create purchase orders in accordance with procurement procedures. Guide internal stakeholders in defining purchasing requirements and selecting appropriate buying channels. Evaluate sourcing options and coordinate with approved suppliers to support purchasing needs. Verify purchase order accuracy, including quantities, pricing, business unit information, and currencies. Dispatch purchase orders and follow up on order-related issues to ensure timely execution. Collaborate with Spot Buyers, Field Procurement Specialists, suppliers, and P2P teams to resolve operational purchasing matters. Identify process deviations, elevate complex issues, and support procurement compliance activities. Maintain procurement documentation and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Qualifications And Experience High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is preferred. 5-10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations. Experience negotiating with suppliers and supporting supplier relationship management activities. Working knowledge of ERP systems and procurement platforms such as Ariba, SAP, ASL, QUEST, or similar tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship from the company.
