Maintenance Technician / Mechanic - Direct Hire
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Overtime: ~10 hours/week (includes occasional Saturdays)

Pro Resources is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic for a well-established metal manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable company that values experienced technicians who can take ownership of equipment reliability and keep production running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and maintain CNC and manual machinery
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement solutions
• Support equipment installs, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
• Follow safety standards and participate in ongoing safety training

What We're Looking For

• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls
• Experience with CNC equipment is a strong plus
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Felony-friendly (case-by-case with client approval)
