Field Service Technician

Overview We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial electro‑mechanical equipment at customer sites. This role involves hands‑on troubleshooting, repair, and ensuring equipment operates to specifications in demanding environments. Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electro‑mechanical equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Perform testing using diagnostic tools (multimeters, etc.) Document issues, repairs, and service activity Travel to customer sites for equipment commissioning and service Verify proper installation, connections, and system performance Replace and service components such as motors, controls, and assemblies Follow all safety procedures and site requirements Requirements Ability to read and understand schematics Experience troubleshooting and repairing electro‑mechanical systems Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Willingness to travel 2–4 times per month Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers Detail‑oriented with solid problem‑solving skills Education & Experience High school diploma required Technical training (electronics or related) preferred 8+ years of relevant hands‑on experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Ability to climb ladders and work in industrial environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
