Project Manager - Construction & Commercial ProjectsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will manage ground-up and interior work across retail, hospitality, and residential sectors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, client-facing skills, and proven ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams and subcontractors.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of construction projects including preconstruction, scheduling, procurement, construction, and closeout.Develop, track, and manage project schedules and budgets; monitor costs and implement corrective actions as needed.Coordinate and lead design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with scope, quality standards, and timelines.Prepare and review contracts, change orders, RFI responses, and submittals; manage the change-order process and documentation.Conduct site visits to monitor progress, enforce quality control, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.Serve as primary client contact, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and maintaining strong client relationships.Identify and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans and resolve issues promptly to minimize schedule or budget impacts.Oversee procurement and material logistics to ensure timely delivery and proper storage on site.Prepare regular project reports, forecasts, and meeting minutes for internal stakeholders and clients.Mentor and supervise project coordinators and on-site teams; foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture.QualificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of project management experience in construction with demonstrated success on commercial, ground-up, and interior projects.Direct experience in retail, hospitality, and residential projects preferred.Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.Proficient with construction/project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with proven client-facing experience.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.Certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED, or OSHA 30 are a plus.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.Benefits-Health, Dental & Vision Coverage -401k Match-PTO-Bonus
