FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME - FLEXIBLE HOURS FROM 8:00 AM TO 6:00 PM

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caring and dependable caregivers in Pepperell, Groton, and Ayer.

NO EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM!

If you have a caring heart and are willing to learn, we can train you.

Free training and certification are available. You can start right away as a Homemaker while working toward additional training and opportunities.

WHAT WE OFFER

• $18–$21 per hour

• Full-time or part-time positions

• Hours generally available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A CAREGIVER?

Our caregivers provide hands-on support and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.

Every client is different, and duties depend on the client's individual needs and care plan.

PERSONAL CARE

You may help clients with everyday personal-care activities such as:

• Bathing and showering

• Getting dressed and undressed

• Grooming and personal hygiene

• Toileting

• Oral care

• Hair care

• Shaving and other grooming routines

• Changing clothes and maintaining personal cleanliness

• Assisting with safe movement around the home

• Helping clients get ready for their day or prepare for bedtime

The goal is to provide respectful assistance while encouraging each client to remain as independent as possible.

MOBILITY & DAILY LIVING

Depending on the client's needs and your assigned duties, you may also assist with:

• Getting in and out of bed or a chair

• Walking and mobility assistance

• Safe movement throughout the home

• Preparing meals and snacks

• Medication reminders, as permitted by the care plan

• Laundry and changing bed linens

• Light housekeeping

• Grocery shopping and errands

• Maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment

COMPANIONSHIP

Sometimes the most important part of caregiving is simply being there.

You may spend time talking with a client, playing games, watching television together, helping with hobbies, accompanying them on errands, or simply providing a friendly face and conversation.

Your presence can help clients feel supported, connected, and less alone.

HOMEMAKING POSITIONS ALSO AVAILABLE

Want to get started in home care but don't have caregiving experience?

Start as a Homemaker!

Homemaking duties may include:

• Meal preparation

• Grocery shopping

• Laundry

• Folding and putting away clothes

• Making beds and changing linens

• Vacuuming and mopping

• Dusting

• Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms

• Washing dishes

• Light household organization

• Running errands

• Providing companionship

Free training and certification opportunities are available for those who want to grow into additional caregiving responsibilities.

TRANSPORTATION REQUIRED

Reliable transportation to client locations is required, particularly when shopping or running errands with clients.
