Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure smooth operations. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues to resolve equipment malfunctions or failures. Utilize technical manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer’s specifications to repair and maintain machinery such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment. Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring/testing instruments for equipment repairs. Repair or fabricate machine parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, or other machine shop equipment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and equipment. Proficient knowledge of equipment control systems to identify issues that may be mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic. Ability to make precise adjustments and measurements, ensuring equipment alignment and functionality. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturers’ specifications, and multiview sketches. Strong understanding of hydraulic pumps/motors, clamping devices, and electric/hydraulic axis drive systems. Advanced skills in construction, assembly techniques, and the ability to manufacture replacement parts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
