Travel Cytotechnologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret cytological specimens to detect abnormal or malignant cells
• Prepare and screen slides from various specimen types including gynecological and non-gynecological samples
• Document and report findings accurately in accordance with laboratory protocols
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure quality and timely results
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cytotechnologist
• ASCP certification (CT) or equivalent required
• Proficiency in screening and interpreting cytological preparations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a laboratory or cytology setting
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
