About the Role In the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program, you will develop the skills and experience needed to become a CVS Pharmacy Store Manager. The program is a self‑paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, including virtual and hands‑on learning experiences guided by a District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach. Key Responsibilities & Expectations Actively engage with your leader during Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion. Support your store as a management team member and lead consistently with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in the company's purpose of “helping people on their path to better health.” Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market you work in. Required Skills Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to support and lead your team. Provide high levels of customer service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required). Bachelor’s degree (preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered). Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location in the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. A four‑year college degree is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree. Compensation Anticipated Weekly Hours: 45 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.88 per hour (base rate) Benefits This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; retirement savings options; wellness programs; and other resources based on eligibility.
