Compassion Kindness Integrity Teamwork Excellence The post holder will deliver portering duties within wards, departments and office areas when required and instructed, whilst contributing to delivery of patient care in line with organisational priorities. Driving duties may be undertaken on occasion to ensure flow of patient discharges and to assist with any urgent transport requests when required. Porter/Driver jobs are primarily Porter duties but there may be the opportunity for Driver training to meet the needs of the service. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Sunday as required. Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of competence in communication, activities, flexibility and knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.
