Learning & Development Facilitator - Part-Time

CEA is a virtual and onsite Human Resources consulting and training services organization that offers a wide range of HR services to our members. We are looking to hire just the right facilitator, ideally located in Northern California, to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging training sessions to support professional development, employment readiness, and organizational growth for employers in CA. We're looking for an exceptional communicator and compassionate facilitator who thrives in diverse environments and believes in the power of learning to create lasting change. At CEA you will be supported by highly skilled team members and there’s always more to learn. Boredom simply isn’t on the agenda. This role is a 20-hour per week position and will report directly to our Sr.HR Director. Responsibilities Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, using established curriculum and materials. Ability to travel to onsite locations in Northern CA (and potential opportunities to travel to other CA locations). Assist in designing and developing high-impact trainings aligned with organizational goals. Utilize remote presentation platforms (typically Zoom and Teams) to deliver virtual training sessions effectively. Customize training content for cross-functional teams in various industries with diverse learning needs. Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications 3+ years of experience facilitating leadership and essential skills. Strong understanding of adult learning principles. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Capable of handling complex issues and challenging questions when training. Ability to utilize stories, activities, and questions to keep sessions lively and relevant. Situational awareness and flexibility to tailor your approach as needed. Experience using Canva and PowerPoint and has intermediate to advanced computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Certifications in emotional intelligence, CliftonStrengths, or conflict resolution.
