This role prepares journal entries, reconciles general ledger accounts, assists with monthly close, and supports cost accounting and inventory controls. You'll analyze variances, support audits, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and GAAP. Working in a safety-focused, process-driven culture, you'll partner with operations to improve financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger Perform monthly account reconciliations and analyses Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory controls Analyze variances and provide explanations to management Support budgeting and forecasting activities Prepare internal financial reports and schedules Assist with internal and external audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies Identify and support process improvements in finance and operations Required Skills General ledger accounting Financial reporting Cost accounting Manufacturing accounting Account reconciliation Month-end close Variance analysis Budgeting and forecasting Excel and ERP systems GAAP knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr
