We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team, focusing on evaluating and treating patients in home health environments. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals regain or enhance their daily living skills after experiencing injury, illness, or disability. This position involves working with a varied patient demographic across Morris and Essex counties, necessitating strong accountability, patience, and effective communication.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in home health, acute, or subacute care settings.
• BLS certification may be required from recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Capability to assess and treat home health patients while documenting to meet productivity standards (30 points).
• Willingness to travel within designated coverage areas, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel between patient visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in homecare is highly desirable.
• Proven accountability, excellent communication skills, and patience are preferred traits.
• Familiarity with productivity benchmarks and agency documentation processes is advantageous.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM as noted in client order documentation.
• Weekly guarantee of 40 hours.
• Coverage areas include Morris and Essex counties.
• One weekend per month may be required, if feasible.
• Mileage will be reimbursed between the first and last patient visits.
