Product Information Specialist

As a Product Information Specialist you will be the guardian of our product catalog. You will be responsible for managing enriching and maintaining product data to ensure consistency and accuracy across our website marketplaces and internal systems. Key Responsibilities
Data Management: Create update and maintain product information (descriptions specifications pricing and dimensions) in our PIM (Product Information Management) system and ERP.
Content Enrichment: Write and edit compelling product descriptions and specifications that are optimized for SEO and user experience.
Quality Assurance: Audit product data regularly to identify inconsistencies errors or missing information and correct them promptly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure product launches and updates are executed smoothly.
Digital Asset Management: Organize and upload product images videos and documents to the appropriate channels.
Taxonomy: Assist in managing product categorization and attribute mapping to ensure a logical site structure.
Requirements
Experience: e.g. 1-3 years of experience in data entry product management e-commerce or a similar administrative role.
Attention to Detail: You have a "zero-defect" mindset and catch errors that others miss.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP pivot tables) and experience with PIM systems (e.g. Akeneo Salsify) or CMS platforms (e.g. Shopify Magento WordPress).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clear concise product copy.
Organization: Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
