About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural - Previous experience in Cath Lab required - Must have active state license before starting assignment Description: This position is for a Cath Lab Tech working 4x10 hour days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The tech will be on call. The daily caseload per tech will be 8-10 cases. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-timers will not be accepted; experience is needed. Weekend on-call duties are required, starting Friday at 7:00 PM and going through Monday at 7:00 AM. On-call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs, but will likely remain in the Cath Lab. Candidates must comply with all additional requirements. No floating to sister facilities is anticipated. Candidates must have a permanent residence 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75 and 99 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. References from two managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required. All required information must be included at the time of submittal.
