Operating Room Assistant I - Surgical Services - FT - Days - MHM

Summary Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the operating room (OR). Responsibilities Clean OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily: collect and remove trash, change linens, and sanitize all surfaces. Assist nurses with providing basic patient care. Assist with moving surgical equipment. Stock supplies in surgical suites as necessary or as designated. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: No prior work experience required. Physical Requirements Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, lift and carry patients up to 35 pounds, push or pull non‑patient loads up to 75 pounds, stand, sit, walk, run, and perform repetitive movements.
