The Bilingual Medical Assistant supports clinical operations by preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, measuring vital signs, documenting clinical information in the EHR, coordinating appointments, collecting specimens, and providing Spanish-English translation services to support clear and compassionate patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs.
• Complete clinical rooming and patient intake activities.
• Document clinical information accurately in the EHR.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Collect and handle patient specimens according to established procedures.
• Provide Spanish-English translation services for patients and clinical staff.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms for patient visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in medical assisting.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation and patient intake.
• Experience measuring vital signs.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Spanish-English interpretation skills.
• Strong patient communication skills.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality.
