Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Job Description

Want to practice in a place where you can build your clinical interests without feeling boxed into one style of medicine? This confidential opportunity is with a small-animal practice in the greater Portland area offering a broad mix of primary care, urgent cases, surgery, dentistry, and access to advanced medical services. New graduates are welcome, with individualized mentorship available, while experienced veterinarians can enjoy the autonomy to shape their own clinical path. What You'll Find Here More variety in your medicine: You'll see wellness, sick, and urgent-care cases rather than an overly narrow caseload.

Room to develop your interests: Surgery and dentistry are part of the role, with opportunities to continue expanding your skills.

Support without unnecessary rigidity: The team operates with a relaxed, adaptable approach while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Access to broader clinical resources: Advanced diagnostic and specialty capabilities are available within the practice environment.

A team you can rely on: Experienced support staff and accessible leadership help you focus on medicine rather than carrying every part of the day yourself.

Long-term growth is possible: Professional development is encouraged, with potential equity and ownership opportunities for the right veterinarian.

What You'll Be Doing This is a full-service small-animal practice with primary care, urgent care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and access to advanced services including specialty consultations and specialized therapies. You'll have opportunities to build treatment plans, perform procedures, educate clients, and develop the areas of medicine that interest you most.
