Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing intervention
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to sister facilities within the health system as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Complete all required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner as prioritized by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of MICU experience required
• Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification (must be active at time of submission)
• Current ACLS certification (must be active at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of MICU experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Familiarity with EKG interpretation and pharmacology assessments
