Requirements Active RN License Degree from accredited nursing program BLS Certificates Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting Other requirements to be determined by our client facility Duties & Responsibilities Med‑Surg nurses (RN) provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; they also attend to patients treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. Due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered, nurses must be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions.
