Class A Tractor Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers and other trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company standards.
• Transport freight between various locations, following scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs as required.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries.
• Prioritize safety while ensuring timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with Hazmat Endorsement preferred
• Experience in truck driving.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Strong navigation and route planning skills.
• Physical ability to load and unload freight as needed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience with load and unload procedures is a plus.
