Position Overview

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work hand in hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Carefully document procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• A completed CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
