About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years preferred License: Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification, VA license (pending acceptable) Must-Have: BLS and ARRT certifications required. Experience with charting system required. Experience in trauma and interventional radiology required. Description: This position is for an Interventional Radiology Tech. The technician will work 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts. There will be one weekday call per week and one weekend call every two months. Scheduling details can be discussed during the interview. A nearby parking spot is available for staff on call. Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary. Additional skills such as angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and embolization are required. The unit consists of eight rooms and two operating room suites. Staff will be involved in high-acuity patient care due to the nature of the procedures conducted. Experience with dialysis fistulas, contrast, biopsies, and ablations is preferred. The role may require floating to other areas within the scope of practice. References will be required from candidates. Background checks will be conducted for any known issues. All licenses and certifications must be provided upon request. Travelers are not eligible to return after exceeding 365 total assignment days.
