KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is designed to support the faculty in addressing the educational, research, and patient care requirements of the Otolaryngology Department, while also contributing to the overarching mission of our organization. The individual in this position will deliver direct patient care with a focus on neuro-otology, which encompasses surgical procedures, consultative services, outpatient care, and the management of hospitalized patients. Additionally, this role involves active participation in the Department's educational initiatives, including conferences, lectures, and teaching rounds. Responsibilities also include supervising house staff in the operating room, clinics, and inpatient settings, as well as engaging in continuing medical education and attending local, regional, and national conferences. The audience for teaching includes medical students, house staff, nursing students, and allied health professionals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited medical institution and completed an ACGME-accredited residency in otolaryngology, with a specific focus and interest in neuro-otology. Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology and must possess or be eligible for a Texas Medical License without any restrictions.

COMPENSATION:

Salary will be determined based on experience.
