Location: Brecksville, OH
Pay: $18.54/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

Emerald Resource Group is hiring a Lab Technician for a leading coatings manufacturer in Brecksville, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in a laboratory environment. You'll support testing, sample preparation, and quality activities while working alongside an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for laboratory testing and evaluation.
• Perform routine laboratory tests by following established procedures.
• Accurately record test results and maintain detailed documentation.
• Operate and clean laboratory equipment.
• Label, organize, and store samples properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist laboratory staff with additional projects and testing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous laboratory, manufacturing, or quality experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable following written procedures and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
