Optometric Technician

Adventure Dental, Vision, & OrthodonticsIn Greeley, CO, Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics is currently seeking an Optometric Assistant to administer visual tests, operate diagnostic equipment, and help with eyewear fittings. This position will report to the Lead Optometric Assistant.Pay range: $20-$25/hr (AND BONUS OPPORTUNITY)Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain, clean, and audit frame board on a weekly basisOrder and track materials/supplies needed for back officeEnsure patients are teched and scribed in a timely manner and assists the team when falling behindEducate patients on proper frame selection and lens optionsEnsure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved childrenMinimum QualificationsPrevious experience in a vision practice is a plusAbility to tech, scribe, and perform optometric tasksStrong communication skillsProficiency in EHR systemsAbility to train and lead a team of Optometric AssistantsAbility to multitask and complete tasks correctly and on timePreferred knowledge of optometric online software/database, Intero Order processing systems, Google Docs, and Document Portal Spreadsheet softwareBilingual a plusIn addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
