Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Dickson, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on critical and complex cases.
• Manage patient assignments primarily under a 2:1 ratio, with some 1:1 and 3:1 scenarios.
• Perform advanced procedures including but not limited to central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.
• Utilize equipment such as Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG monitoring.
• Document patient care effectively using the Meditech documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license with ICU experience.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS.
• Strong critical thinking skills and excellent communication abilities.
