Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction

GPAC, in partnership with a well-established commercial construction firm, is hiring an experienced Assistant Project Manager to oversee and support construction projects, ensuring on-time completion, budget adherence, and safety compliance. Responsibilities Manage and ensure the timely completion of all construction projects Collaborate with project teams from initial phases to completion Ensure all resources are identified and allocated according to specifications Monitor progress of all projects, providing technical guidance to staff and contractors Analyze and address barriers to progress, and update project teams accordingly Develop and maintain project budgets, and review cost estimates Prepare progress reports and present progress updates to project teams Ensure safety regulations and industry standards are met on all projects Qualifications 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, a degree preferred. Strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving and leadership skills, with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
