About the Position

Hi,

We are actively hiring an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN) for one of our clients, a leading cardiac and acute care facility in Augusta, GA. This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Cardiac Telemetry/PCU environment with a focus on cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and post-cardiac procedure care.

You will work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, rapid response teams, and multidisciplinary healthcare staff to provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)
Location: Augusta, GA 30901
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Range: Weekly ($1700 – $1900)

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cardiac telemetry and PCU/stepdown patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Lidocaine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, and Bumex (no titration)
• Care for patients with CHF, MI, chest pain, dysrhythmias, PE/DVT, sepsis, and post-cardiac cath conditions
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR

Additional Details

• Ratios approximately 1:4–5 patients
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within facility and scope of practice may be required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• No call requirement

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications required
• Epic experience required
• Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management skills required
• Experience in PCU/Stepdown/Cardiac Telemetry settings preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
