Ultrasound Technologist - Acute Care Hospital

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid 5x8-Hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various imaging procedures and comfortable with a flexible schedule including some weekends and possible outpatient coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, gynecological, and vascular studies.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and comply with safety regulations.
• Manage equipment and assist in quality control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound imaging.
• Valid ARDMS certification (ARDMS-AB, ARDMS-OB, or relevant specialties) required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Background in acute care or community hospital experience preferred.
