What's a shift like at Chick-fil-A as a team member?

As a member of the front of house team at Chick-fil-A, your day starts with a team meeting to set goals, followed by preparing the dining area and counter for a welcoming guest experience. You'll interact with customers during busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods, taking orders with a smile, ensuring accuracy, and offering a second-mile service at the counter or in the drive-thru. In between service, you'll maintain a spotless dining area, offer table refills to keep guests satisfied, and collaborate with your team to keep a fast and friendly pace.

Type of position:

• Full-time or part-time positions available

Schedule:

• Day shift runs from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible scheduling
• Night shift runs from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM with flexible hours

Responsibilities of front of house staff:

• Smile and greet guests
• Create and maintain eye contact
• Speak with enthusiasm
• Build emotional connections with guests by addressing them by name
• Multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
• Be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and have a strong work ethic
• Stand for several hours at a time
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Always comply with Chick-fil-A's standards and dress code
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements:

• Consistency and reliability; MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS
• Cheerful and positive attitude
• Customer service oriented
• Detail oriented
• Able to multitask while working at a fast pace
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Willing and able to work flexible hours and required to work Saturdays
• Have the ability to lift and carry 20 pounds regularly
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
