Responsibilities Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Qualifications Qualifications: Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Additional Qualifications: Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred. License or Certifications: ARRT certified in Radiography ARRT certified in CT within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees. Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership. Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). BLS certified Exemption Status Nonexempt Compensation Detail $35.45 - $53.15 / hour Benefits Eligible Yes Schedule Full Time Hours/Pay Period 80 Schedule Details Sunday-Thursday 2-10:30pm, No scheduled Saturday shifts, but pickups available. Overnight shifts or varied day shifts as needed for department coverage. Weekend Schedule No weekend rotation. Weekend shifts as available for overtime or as needed for department staffing.
