QC Mechanical Inspector

Ready to take the next step in your Quality Control career? salary: $18 - $19 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Inspect machined/molded parts to assure conformance to engineering drawings and/or other documentation. Document inspection results using manual and computer-based systems. Generate Material Non-Conformance reports for items not meeting specifications. Interface with personnel within the quality department regarding work assignments and priorities. Interface with personnel in engineering, manufacturing and sales to resolve any issues relating to specifications or non-conformances. Previous experience in a precision mechanical inspection environment, such as a machine shop, molding shop or other fabrication/manufacturing company. Hands-on experience with common inspection tools such as: Micrometers; Calipers; Pin/Plug Gages; Ring Gages; Go/No Go Gages Height Gages; Profile Projectors; Profilometers; Surface Plates Experience working in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent (two years of college preferred), 3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a quality control inspector/technician.
