Base Pay & Job Details Base Pay $20.00 - $22.00 / Hour Job Category Recruitment and Selection, Training and Orientation, Volunteer Management Industry Nonprofit Organizations, Public Sector & Government Agencies, Educatation and Schools Employee Type Non-Exempt Description The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and supporting volunteers to effectively meet program needs while fostering positive community engagement and alignment with the organization’s mission. Qualifications Experience working with database systems and tracking systems and a variety of virtual platforms. Strong organizational and competent math skills. Communication and language skills to comprehend documents and other correspondence. Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of Excel Microsoft office and other office equipment such as copier, scanner, fax etc... Ability to interact with customers from a variety of backgrounds and with different levels of management. Ability to exercise occasional independent judgement. Capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Requirements The ideal candidate must have a driver’s license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
