Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse located in Fredericksburg, Texas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a Med-Surg unit within a general hospital setting. The role includes caring for patients requiring telemetry monitoring and performing procedures such as vital signs assessment, wound care, and patient discharge or admission activities.

Location: Fredericksburg, Texas
Unit Information: 2 North Med-Surg with 24 beds and a staff of 36
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Texas location requirement, 0 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience, Postoperative care experience, 2 or more years of experience, PALS, NIHSS certification
Additional Information: Must have telemetry experience; candidates without the specified skills will not be considered. Duties include daily weights, vital signs, bedside reports, wound care, IV starts, patient discharge and admission, Foley care, and other unit-specific procedures. Self-motivated, initiative-taking, and team-oriented personalities are ideal.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a 4-week schedule including working every other weekend, holiday requirements, and pre-approved RTO.
