Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS & BLS Must-Have: Critical care and Angiography/IR experience, including stroke and trauma care. Description: The facility offers Angiography and Interventional Radiology Services. The unit is equipped with 3 Angiography Labs. It includes 2 dedicated Interventional Radiology Labs and 1 hybrid operating room. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. Staffing typically consists of a Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS with ideal teams of 2 Techs and 2 RNs. Equipment used includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream. Documentation is managed through an electronic system. Scheduling requires 4 ten-hour shifts with call. Experience in ICU or ER is necessary. Procedures performed include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma. A family-like atmosphere and supportive management are emphasized.
