Role Description: The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Forks, ND. This position focuses on building and maintaining relationships with contractors and construction professionals, promoting Prairie Supply's equipment and materials with an emphasis on concrete construction solutions. Day-to-day tasks include identifying customer needs, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up on leads to drive sales growth. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, providing product guidance and basic training to customers, and maintaining accurate records in sales systems. The Sales Specialist will represent Prairie Supply in a professional manner and support a positive, safety-conscious work environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with contractors and internal teams. Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to generate new business, manage accounts, and meet sales targets. Candidates should possess Training skills to provide product demonstrations and basic usage guidance to customers. Knowledge of construction or building materials, especially concrete-related products, is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation in sales or CRM systems. Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, order entry systems) and a valid driver's license for occasional customer visits.
