Mechanical Sales Industrial Equipment

We are seeking a results-driven and technically minded sales representative to drive growth within our clients USA Canada core markets. 90% travel within the US and Canada. Candidates should possess a MECHANICAL or MANUFACTURING Sales background. You will be responsible for expanding our markets by cold calling or with supplied leads within the United States and canada. Valid Passport is required for travel outside of US. This is an Early to Middle Career Position. Prior exposure to an Industrial Processing, Bulk Material Handling or Manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Experience selling to OEM and Distribution is desired. The ideal candidate will have experience selling electric motors or power transmission components. Job can work from any US State and is remote.

Responsibilities

Business development & sales growth within defined US territory
Identify and prospect new customers within the defined territory, including concrete pre-cast plants,
quarries, food processing, tradeshows and OEM manufacturing plants.
Develop and execute a territory sales plan alongside the territory sales manager to meet and exceed
year-on-year and monthly revenue targets.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline using internal tools and CRM software
Use, if applicable, your current relationships and experience and a variety of search methods to uncover
new, OEM and Distribution prospects.
Travel, when necessary, on an overnight basis to trade shows and customer facilities to gain a better
understanding of the needs in the market within territory assigned by the sales/territory manager.
