Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy approaches to support their functional objectives

Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic techniques to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic, comprehensive care

Train Patients and Families: Offer insight and guidance on therapy methods to assist patients and caregivers in continuing their progress at home

Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor outcomes closely, making necessary adjustments to ensure patients remain steadfast on their path to recovery

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university

Ongoing education or advanced certifications highly encouraged and supported

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required

NBCOT certification essential

A deep passion for supporting others and a natural motivation to help them achieve higher levels of independence

Effective and empathetic communication skills for engaging both patients and team members

Creative problem-solving abilities to adapt treatment plans for diverse needs

Confidence in working autonomously as well as part of a cohesive, interdisciplinary team
